The homeless usually need help finding housing or a rent subsidy. Unfortunately, those with pets find this very difficult. Many are forced to choose between their pet and staying in a shelter. Surprisingly, most choose to stay on the streets with their pets. Sometimes, this is their only companion or family! Between 5

FFBF is committed to reducing hunger and providing veterinarian wellness checks for the pets of Franklin County's underserved and vulnerable populations (homeless, senior citizens, veterans, etc.). We believe in the healing power of companion pets and that the human/animal bond is very important to life. Each person

Our members collect donations and then distribute it from the Holy Family Church to Franklin County's underserved and vulnerable populations (homeless, senior citizens, veterans, etc.).  We provide dog and cat food, veterinary wellness care (check-up and vaccinations), and assistance with spay / neuter.
